Geological and exploration works
The volume of 2021 geological exploration was 367 thousand meters, including preliminary drilling – 137 thousand meters, 2 D seismic prospecting – 1,493 line kilometers, 3 D seismic prospecting – 4,097 km2.
Five oil fields were discovered in 2021 with oil deposits: Vostochno-Pylinskoe field (“Technologicheskaya kompaniya”, company), Charskoe field (“Technologicheskaya kompaniya”, company), Zapadno-Vonterskoe field (“YugraNefteRazvedka vostok”, company), Yuzhno-Maloshapshinskoe field (“Salymneft”, company) and Zapadno-Mytayakhinskoe field (“YugraNefteRazvedka”, company) with total recoverable oil reserves of category C1+C2 25.5 million tons.
Regional seismic works were carried out for three prospective plots on the territory of Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug – Yugra in 2021: regional seismic works common depth point method – 2D at Karabashskiy 1 and Karabashskiy 2 fields (the total volume of seismic prospecting is 943 km) and Zaozernaya №1 parametric well (2.6 th. m).

KhMAO - Yugra’s fields
Oil fields, discovered in 2021
Four oil fields were discovered in 2020 totally, recoverable oil reserves are 1.4 million tons of category С1, 2.5 million tons of category С2.
1. Vostochno-Pylinskoe oil field was discovered within the Vostochno-Pylinskiy subsoil plot (license KhMN 03702 NP) by company “Technologicheskaya kompaniya”. The field is located in Nizhnevartovskiy administrative region of Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug - Yugra, in 52 km to the east from Nizhnevartovsk city. One part of the field is located in Vartovskiy oil and gas district of Sredneobskaya oil-and-gas bearing region, other part of the field is situated in Varyeganskiy oil and gas district of Nadym-Purskaya oil-and-gas bearing region. A discoverer of the field is a prospecting hole 22 of Ershovaya area in 2021. As a result of that oil-and-gas content of bed ЮВ11, Vasyugan oil and gas reservoir was determined. An oil flow with an oil production rate of 18 m3/day was received testing between 3,307-3,319 meters.
2. Charskoe oil field was discovered within the Charskiy subsoil plot (license KhMN 03705 NP) by company “Technologicheskaya kompaniya”. The field is located in Nizhnevartovskiy administrative region of Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug - Yugra, in 30 km to the east from Nizhnevartovsk city. It is the part of Vartovskiy oil and gas district of Sredneobskaya oil-and-gas bearing region.
Two prospecting and exploration № 43 and № 44 wells penetrated deposits of Vasyugan suite were drilled in 2020-2021. As a result of that oil-and-gas content of Vasyugan oil and gas reservoir was determined. The field consists of two oil deposits of Ю11 bed. Testing Ю11 in № 43 well between 2,537-2,551 m an oil flow was received (a production rate of oil was 25 m³/day), in condition of depression 118,6 kgf/cm3. Testing № 44 well between 2,852-2,866 m an oil flow was received (a production rate of oil and water was 14 m3/day, a production rate of oil was 4 m3/day), in condition of depression 120.1 kgf/cm3.
3. Zapadno-Vonterskoe oil field was discovered within the Zapadno-Vonterskiy subsoil plot (license KhMN 03397 NP) by company “YugraNefteRazvedka vostok”. The field is located in Nizhnevartovskiy administrative region of Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug - Yugra, in 139 km to the northeast from Nizhnevartovsk city. It is the part of Aleksandrovskiy oil and gas district of Vasyugan oil-and-gas bearing region. A discoverer of the field is a prospecting hole 201 of Novokoltogorskaya structure-1 in 2020. As a result of that oil-and-gas content of Vasyugan oil and gas reservoir was determined. Testing Ю1 between 3,334-3,342 m an oil flow was received (a production rate of oil was 21 m3/day), in condition of depression 153.2 kgf/cm3.
4. Yuzhno-Maloshapshinskoe field was discovered by “Salymneft”, company within Salymskiy-1 subsoil plot (license KhMN 14642 NP). It is located in Nefteyuganskiy region of Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug - Yugra, in 107 km to the southeast from Khanty-Mansiysk city. The oil field is a part of Uvatskiy oil and gas district of Frolovskaya oil-and-gas bearing region. 1P hole, drilled in 2020, was a discoverer. As a result of that oil-and gas content was determined in Neocomian, Lower Jurassic, Middle Jurassic deposits. Beds (АС112, Ач, ЮС2, ЮС10, ЮС11) have oil-and-gas content. Testing bed АС112, between 2,404-2,411 m, oil flow with a production rate of 3.46 m³/day was received in condition of middle dynamic head 1,172 m. Testing bed Ач, between 2,867-2,888 m, an oil flow with an oil and water production rate of 2.37 m³/day, a water production rate of 4.8 m³/day was received in condition of middle dynamic head 1,701 m. Testing bed ЮС2, between 2,997-3,020 m, an oil flow with an oil and water production rate of 2.42 m3/day, a water production rate of 3.64 m3/day was received in condition of middle dynamic head 1,409 m. Testing bed ЮС10, between 3,241-3,250 m, 3,260-3,264 m, 3,267-3,284 m an oil flow with an oil and water production rate of 3.95 m3/day, a water production rate of 3.79 m³/day was received in condition of middle dynamic head 1,847 m. Testing bed ЮС11, between 3,298-3,310 m, 3,315-3,326 m, 3,327-3,329 m, 3,332-3,334 m, 3,337-3,341 m, 2,257-3,363 m, an oil flow with an oil and water production rate of 0.35 m3/day, a water production rate of 0.79 m³/day was received in condition of middle dynamic head 1,910 m.
5. Zapadno-Mytayakhinskoe oil field was discovered within the Zapadno-Mytayakhinskiy subsoil plot (license KhMN 03320 NP) by company “YugraNefteRazvedka”. The field is located in Surgutskiy administrative region of Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug - Yugra, in 125 km to the north from Khanty-Mansiysk city. It is the part of Priobskiy oil and gas district of Frolovskaya oil-and-gas bearing region. The discoverers of the field are retesting 563 and 7517 prospecting holes drilled in 2001 and 2003. Testing AC110 in 7517 hole between 2,750-2,762 m an oil flow was received (a production rate of oil was 3.4 m3/day). Testing AC11 in 563 hole an oil flow was received (a production rate of oil was 3.7 m3/day).
